The Netherlands Society of Cinematographers is a society with the aim to support its members creatively, technically and socially within their working environment. The NSC was established in 1994 by a group of Dutch Directors of Photography. The NSC is connected to IMAGO, the European Federation of Cinematographers. The outcome is a week rate which is internationally applicable due to the inclusion of a conversion formula. This formula is based on the daily exchange rate and the annual Economist’s Big Mac Index.
